Woohoo! A new cloth bottomed addition to the thread.

I use Rockin' green only when I am doing a booster soak. I do one of those about once a month. I don't know if the eco store powder is reactting to DD's teething wee right now. I accidentally washed in the sensitve liquid we use on our sheets (purity) the other day and her bum seemed less burnt. It really didn't bring them up as white though but I think it's a small sacrafice. It could be a coincidence?

My father is visiting and he was showing me how to fold flats I suck at stuff like that and the patience for my clumsiness was awesome. A couple looked a tad askew but with practice I'll get better. He even heard DD chattering this morning, got her up, gave her brekky AND changed her into an Abby Gro today. There is the night sposies box on the table yet he got a MCN

WOCB: whatever Abby Gro colour my father put on her

Yay Kylz! Welcome to the world of fluff!

I use Earth Choice, diluted with washing soda and water. AE, can you guys get the 10L bottles down there? They are ace, last forever. We bought one box of ecostore, but it caused a rash here, so we just use it occasionally.

Jaki - giving serious thought to unfriending you on FB - this morning's WeePantz photo nearly got my addiction going again! You're dangerous! Super cute.

Bexie - Fluffy Lime has pop-ins at 25% off, I know you love them. Yes we went through Dalby. You'll never guess where we are headed for Queen's Bday long weekend....

WONB: Monkey Doodlez minky pocket. I hate their AIO, so had expected not to like this, but it is so luscious! Edit: Just leaked. I take it back!

Big hugs Kylz. I change my kids every 2 hours (unless they do a poo of course!)

Or if they sleep longer obviously....

It depends on the child though Kylz. Pixie has always been a heavy wetter and at 4 months I had to change her every hour. We're in a dry climate so she drinks loads.

DP was a tad confused on the cloth at the start but DD had reactions to sposies if she was in them for more than 1 change. He realised it was better for her bum if we used the cloth, lass rashing and such. DP has always been okay with making mistakes and asking how to do baby related stuff if needed though so that attitude helped.

ETA: I'm a tad baffled as to why the ecostore only rashes Pixie up during teething. The nappies smelt the same wee wise with no rash resulting during the Purity liquid batch. Maybe a residue from the ecostore and alkalinity/acid levels in wee react? It's more like a burn than a rash.

you shouldn't use any detergent with enzymes (most normal stuff) because the enzymes will build up in the boosters and prevent the absorbancy.
Rockin green, eco store, earth choice... they are all enzyme free.

I haven't tried the pail stuff yet, still on it's way here. Can't wait cause our bucket smells!!!!

I just bought the tutto limited edition Danube, I have had my eye on it from that uk website for $21 but I didn't buy it when I bought my pop ins and low and behold, they are sold out!! GRRRR... so I paid $31.95 from ninky bear plus $6.30 postage. Postage is SUCH a killer these days!! It costs less to get something posted from UK than it does to post within australia!!!
But I am sooo glad I got it! I love the danube!

My DH won't put on MCN either. If I am here we tag team... He removes and cleans then I apply
Otherwise he throws on a sposie.

Wowb- turquoise bitty d'lish... Won't fit much longer!

I hope you were wearing a lab coat over your gorgeous big belly when you wrote that...
We're kinda the same, only no teeth here. But the ecostore doesn't always rash her up. Huh.

We haven't had any sposies in the house since DD was born. So my DH has no choice at all. What I do do for him, though, is have one row on the change table that are "easy" ones for him, so he doesn't have to worry about what fits, doesnt fit, needs a cover, needs an extra booster, blah blah blah. He's really good now.

WONB: Blue flames Bonnibuns. And a liner, and bum cream. (Was going to leave the liner out, cos it's SIL's nappy and I am *still* mad at her, but decided to be a grown up)

lol, that did sound rather science like Feeling quite proud of that statement

Doing a Purity load here. She just had the peak of teeth breaking through runny poo and that alone burnt her butt. I chucked her straight in a bath to dilute any ecostore residue on her skin and to make sure it was right out of her pores. It seems to have done the job and bum was just pink. She has a Purity washed nappy on right now so hoping the redness/teeth/ecostore theory pans out because she was a tad restless last night with her sore bum. It was really hot to the touch and felt like the first layer was burnt off with that rough feeling.

lol, I was thinking more "poor Grandpa" by the way he turned green. She was helping him plaster in the hallway by passing him nails at the time of big smelly poo. The little trooper isn't that fazed today so obviously the mass discomfort has gone. She's such a bubbly thing
