So last 3 nights I have been clothing Pixie and she loves it! Every night we used to get a tantrum when the sposie went on. I am testing the pop in night boosters my sister got me tonight because the trifold for my bonnibuns night nappy was a tad damp. Last nights Maz nappy with cover lasted til this morning but once again it's her post bath wee that's huge. She drinks so much water with dinner that once her tummy gets cold after her bath she needs to do a huge wee!

I also got my snappis today. I could only find happy baby brand ones in Kmart, are they okay? I am feeling it's a tad close to EDD to order stuff now because I had DD at 36w 5d gestation. I have no idea where else to purchase items like that here except maybe the baby shop (which charge double the price!). They seemed to grip the nappy that I tested on Pixie's bear well and are currently getting stretched on the rug in the spare room. Any suggestions on how long to leave them stretching?

WOCB: Bonnibuns choc dot night nappy with pop-in night booster and an abby gro care bears fleece shell as an additional cover.

Cl - happy baby brand is fine. As for where to get them, woolies or Coles sometimes stock them, or big w.? And I usually give mine a half arsed stretch with my fingers before use, probably less than a minute lol!

EM - I use reusable ones like sterla. I use flushable if I take cloth away with me for a holiday easier to clean nappies!!

Ugh jak I know!! I would never give anyone a hard time for using sposies. I find some people have opinions on all aspects of other peoples parenting, even if they don't have kids!!! Opinions are like ar*eholes, everyone has one. don't take any notice hun. What got said to you?

Lame. SO lame. They should just suck it up and have a crack. It is so easy.

CL - your snappis will be fine. I even love my made in china rip-offs. They are called "Snaipp"s. I had a wee giggle at that.

WONB: Nuthn. Gotta go deal with a WeeHugger full of nuggets.

Wow, I'm really surprised that people say negative things about cloth like that! Luckily, I've only ever had people say nice things. There are more positives with cloth than negative, and it's really not as hard as some people think it is! Plus, they're so pretty!

Oooohhh, Sterla, luscious bottoms at your place!

We just went for a fluffy walk to get our Bubblebubs delivery. Two large AIOs, fully husband approved as they're his faves, and only $20 each. And one is cuddlefleece. Even better.

I've dealt with so many screwing their nose up at it in almost 2 years that I don't bat an eyelid now. People are so damn ignorant

The only negative response I've had to cloth nappies is people saying they don't want to have to deal with poo. I had to inform them it's actually illegal to dispose of human faeces in the general garbage and they're supposed to dump poo from disposables as well, of course no one knows that and no one does that, but how gross is it to fill garbage tips with poo, let alone nappies that never break down.
