Placed an order for what is probably our last lot of cloth nappies today! Got some bargains in the BBH sale including some minkees which is a first here...can't believe it's taken me almost 4 years but couldn't resist the leopard prints lol

    Cloth Nappy General Discussion #201

Hi, new to this thread. We currently use bambootys. Does anyone else? We've used them for over a year now and are happy. Would love to have a good night nappy if anyone has a tip or two.
Quick Q- what's the nappy hunt? Sounds interesting!

Haha I wish it was the mulberry its Avignon but for some reason the pic turned out really purple?!

I like AIO's so that's what I bought. I have nearly all the limited edition ones and plain colours from last season. I just sold off my SIO's because they were really bulky on DS. I got azure, sea foam, papaya (my fav!), wasabi, Avignon and saffron

Willilever, I like BBH night nappy, but I haven't tried many, mostly because I was happy with that one.

Williever google Diaper Decisions Great Cloth Nappy Hunt. It's like a treasure hunt through nappy/children's sites. There are discounts and prizes. It runs twice a year, March and September.

AJ, ah buggar. I like AIOs too.

Lol I 'should' take a photo of my stash, but I haven't yet as I don't think DH realises how many we already have and there are some more on the way.... So addicted....

By the way my little bubba is growing out of medium size BBH, at 6 months! (And 9.5 kgs) so very soon I'll be putting some up for sale not that we've had them very long.

Aj that's an awesome stash for a tiny bub! Wish I had started when baby K was that little.

that looks like heaps but when I think about ive probably no far off it ive just never put them all together. ill do another snap when my new pretties show up.
so our osfm bbh leak too at the legs (along with osfm side snaps), but once again only when she is in the car seat.
she will be 10months next week and has started walking, so obviously her legs have changed shape.. still interested in any tips people have. shes still rf ....was 9 1/2kg a month ago when I last got her weighed... dont know if shes hit 10kg yet, shes slimmed cause she is mobile (insanely mobile) ...
    its just rather annoying

    What a beautiful stash!

I am holding off from growing my stash. I am hoping that what we have now (12 covers, 38 soakers and 4 boosters, plus an extra large cover for nights, some homemade microfibre boosters and some homemade newborn sized prefolds) will see us through to the end of TTing the anticipated 2nd child, and that at worst I might need to look into an alternative nappy for nights.

TT40, I gather that some absorbant fabrics are much more prone to compression leaks than others - I think microfibre is bad for it, cotton and bamboo and hemp are not so bad. Could you be using microfibre which is allowing the leaks to be squeezed out under the pressure of her bottom against the seat?

I love these stash reveals! Here's my stash- minus about five in the nappy bin and also my elastically challenged cheeky butts covers.

hi I might join here too, been using cloth exclusively since birth, atm we are using Bambooties ( just upgraded to mediums), Itti bittis delish- AIO and SIO, can do smalls and mediums still, and BBH night nappies. I just ordered some BBH minkee nappies for half price, best patterns- the leopard print etc, hopefully they will arive when DH isn't home- he is unaware of my addiction adn doesn't realise how many we have lol.

Luckily I just sold some of my small bambooties so have more cash for nappies hehe!
