PP we use them part time here too, and my newborn will be in sposies for most of the time til s/he's a couple of months old, I can just forsee that now! Like Kim, we use sposies for overnight, daycare and when we are out all day. (Half-day trips I still use cloth, but hate the bulk of having to take a full day's worth of cloth, so often I will put her in a sposie if I know I'll need several changes for her).
I do find MCNs take up more of my time, plus when DH uses them he doesn't clean the pooey ones, so that job ALWAYS falls to me. (Though most of the nappy changes fall to me anyway, except for when he looks after her on weds while I'm at work).
I too would recommend part time use if you don't want to give them up completely - using them even just part time would still save you money and produce less waste than giving them up altogether.
