I think the brand I've got is Kenko or something like that. They come in a roll and they're red, blue and yellow.
I've not bought bamboo before... But I suppose if you think that a bamboo trifold booster from BBH costs around um... $15? (Guessing - I can't remember how much it cost. Pretty sure it was more than $10) Gee, it does sound worth it! All you'd have to do is hem the edges.

Well i have no chance of heming them - i don't have a sewing machine and i wouldn't be able to use one if i did (i have thought about getting one seriously in the last couple of months).
Oh well back to the drawing board i guess.
