Alternatively to Suse idea would be to purchase a pack of flat nappies (as an emergency when nappies won't dry). If you didn't use them, you could take them back. And if you did have to open the pack, there are other uses for cloth flat nappies, and you won't be stuck with half a pack of disposables hanging around that you never wanted to buy!
