I'm not sure how many you need with two in nappies. It also depends how often you want to wash. With newborns you probably need (at least) 20 day nappies and 2 night nappies to wash every other day (assuming you can get everything dry in one day). That's why I recommend flat ones - much, much cheaper and quick drying. Unless you can find some osfm that truly work with newborn.
They need far fewer nappies as they get older though, so 20 'shared' ones would probably be enough for the 2, washing every other day.
Maz's night nappies are great. Wild Child ones are also good for heavy wetters.
