Need a rash cream, but using MCN's....

I did use some sudo-cream yesterday... But haven't washed the nappy yet...

It is sticky though..... I hope it washes out ok... And he didn't look any better anyway...


I hope it does work on the eczema.. my son only gets the odd breakout, and I hate using the commercial stuff, full of chemicals, on him. I'll let you know!!!

I use the johnsons baby powder that is cornflour based. It works WONDERS and I tried heaps of different creams. It's also great because its ok on cloth nappies

You can't just use sudocrem?

Nope. Thats a barrier cream - so the cream gets stuck in the fibres of the material, clogs it up and the absorbency of the material suffers. Last time daycare used a nappy cream like that on one of DS's nappys - apart from me going ballistic - I had to soak it in quite warm water and scrub with a toothbrush to remove it from the fibres so it would work properly again.

So yeah - stay away from the barrier creams.

I'm going to buy some of that Moogoo Soothing Cream - sounds awesome as we'll be using MCNs too. I bought the Full Cream Moogoo cream and use it on my belly (stretch marks get itchy )
and i love it!!!!

Is it safe to use on 7mth olds?
