Thanks for all the responses. I think I am going to go with sewing my own, as I am currently doing sewing classes anyway, so my teacher will help me, and I will make a few up in calico to get the sizing right. I figure I will make around 6, possibly more, so that would be at least $130 if I buy them, and I can probably make them cheaper.
I might buy one in the meantime, to see how it goes, an also I can unpick it and use it as a base for a pattern.
Otherwise are there good patterns out there for larger size nappies? I am happy to pay for a pattern, but I can hardly see it being listed on Vouge (after the horrible morning I have had I need to make at least a lame joke!)
Where can I get instructions about different materials to make them, where to buy material (can you buy online, otherwise Darn Cheap Fabric is 5 mins away, but their stock varies a lot), etc. I will try and google them, but I am so busy at the moment that even researching for a few hours is more than I can
Yeddi - where do you get Issy Bear inserts from? and Peapods? I will google around a bit. Where do I measure my DS to work out what size he needs?
