Ok just one more question! To those that have 2 in cloth, do you use the same nappies on both? I tried the GK on Izzy seems a little small but the BG is great on both of them so do you just use the ones that you can use on both and then have some that are sized for each? Also the magicall (small) seems really a bit small on James but I think it said not to upsize so Imnot sure now how they are meant to sit? He is about 6kgs. Will post pics when my battery recharges and you can tell me what you think!

Tan - I have used BG on both kids - they are fine.
GK are a bit too wide for Miss M - she's a scrawny thing - but they fit DS beautifully.
Where they sit depends on the build of ya kids ya know? My nappies always sit under their belly button - they are really long in the body. I always found Magicalls to be quite a big sizing - the large was a bit too big for DS even now (but he has no hips or butt to keep it full I guess!)

I use the same GKs on both Iz and El Tan. I just stuff them when they come off the line and divide them up between the nappy change room downstairs and their bedrooms upstairs. They are quite wide but I find that they fit both my girls really well, but my Iz is still teeny tiny (I think she's a good couple of kgs less than your Iz).

I used a teeny amount of Amolin to wash my nappies but since that stuffed my front loading washing machine I am now using a teeny amount of Omo matic sensitive. I'd definitely get a powder without any softener in it.

You will find that the more you wash your nappies the more absorbent they are. The covers can just have one wash but whenever I get new inserts I wash them at least 3 times before using them.
