    Unhappy Cross Cutting!!

So DD is crosscutting, she has 2 teeth coming down, right after the front four top ones, i have never seen it before ive heard of the oness next to the front two but not the ones after that, the poor thing has been giving me hell the last few days and i cant imagine the pain she is in..
Ive been giving her nurofen and also hard cold things to bite down on, but what else can i do?
Has anyone else's child done this? (cross cutting before?)

Ummm, lol, im just guessing but i think it means when they get the sides before the fronts..itms?
but intead of just getting the sides she is getting the ones after that!!
so your front four teeth, she is getting the ones beside them.!!

Oh its so painful to watch but at the same time she is driving me CRAZY!! constant whinging, and crying and aaarrrGGGHHHHHH!! lol
and she isnt sleeping in the day so its even worse cause then she is over tired too!!

yeah im not sure how it works either! makes you glad we cant remember what teething was like tho.
i use a teething neclace and bonjella (if ds2 hasnt nicked off with it and eaten it all ) as well as the frosen teethers she sometimes prefers a frozen wet facewasher and frozen bits of fruit.

"canine" teeth. (Teeth eruption chart) They were absolute HELL here too. The worst DS was with any of his teeth including molars He got soo sick - very hot, vomiting, diarrhea, drool (omg the drool ) SCREAMED all day and all night long. After that we got the teething necklace and have very little problem since, so I def reccomend one of those! lol Otherwise nurofen works well with teeth because it's an anti inflamatory and bonjela because it numbs the area (there are alternatives to bonjela if your worried about recent-ish media reports. I think one is called SM33?). Also heard good things about brauers teething relief.

    Teething sucks.

OMG!!! HOW BAD IS IT!!! out of 4 children i can not believe this is happening NOW!! none of my boys ever had a problem with teething seriously one would pop out and then another and another and not a peep..
But this girl, wellllll, let me tell you!!! as much as i love her, im ready to sell her LOL (jokingly)
So what do these necklaces do exactly? can you buy them from baby shops?
And funnily enough i have seen nothing on anywhere about bonjela? OOpps

i was skeptical to, but was desperate so figured if it dosent actualy work, well then she will have a prety necklace to were (she loves anything prety)
took me forever to buy one had them sitting in watched untill i figured stuff it, but it did work, she is less grumpy, dosent sook as much or bite her fingers/hands like she dose when shes not wearing it. from what i read it releases healing properties or something thats absorbed into there skin, sounded like a heap of poo but after using it for 70% of her current teeth, i recon its true.

There was heaps about it at the time (bonjela) I'll see if i can find the thread...

Basically the teething necklace is worn around the neck/ ankle and the heat of bubs skin makes it release "succinic acid". This makes it's way into bubs body and acts as a natural pain relief. That's my understanding of it anyway. please someone tell me if I'm wrong because that's how I explain it to everyone
