Thats exactly right PZ, they ASSUME because its "thicker" that it will stay down better. But as I mentioned, if bub is bringing up thickened formula, chances are it wont help at all. Some peads still live in the dark ages and will tell you anything when they have no idea how to fix it. Ive been there.. done that.. Had to take DD1 to the royal childrens because she wouldnt stop vommiting, it was insane. Even being that bad, it did stop with time. She started solids at 5 months because they all told me to, it didnt make an ounce of difference. Just made it a messier clean up and harder for her to bring up, which was hard to watch sometimes.
