Great info. Thanks JB. I am a little worried though.

I developed mastitis when DS was 6 days old. I started off on homeopathics, but after 3 days of high temps (40 deg) and body aches, a 48 hr migraine, and occasional delirium, I went to the GP for antibiotics. I really didn't want to do it (we had a drug-free home birth) but I was in tears by then and dreading each feed. I took anti-b for 7 days. I also took a probiotic capsule and we gave our DS a neo-natal probiotic powder mixed in water. But I don't think we did it for the whole week. How long should we have done it for(Jocelyn? ). DS is 9 weeks old now. He doesn't have colic or reflux, but he has splotchy skin on his face. Is it worth me continuing to take the probiotic? Thanks
