My DD has been fighting a chest infection for the last 6-7 weeks and she cut her first tooth last week with more coming. She too has been waking with coughing fits and crying as she is unable to breath although in my case it is because she stops breathing, she has not had a blocked nose, she also has been vomiting after her feeds due to the mucus on her chest.

My DD was on antibiotics as she has a history of respitory distress and so we tried to catch the chest infection early however they did nothing and the doctors put it down to teething.

She has a teething necklace and I use baby balsam at night, but I do not use anything other than that. She has been sleeping a bit better over the last week or two but we still aren't back to our sleep 12-14 hour girl that we did have, unfortunatly I think it is a bit of a sit and wait thing .

I know what you mean about the sleep and being pregnant (we are belly buddies!) it does take a toll, we had a really bad night last night.
