Hi,

I've just joined his morning...haven't got much of an idea on how this chatting works as it's my first time but I'm hoping somebody is or has been through what I'm dealing with at the mo'?? My first bub 3 weeks old, extreme wind, have tried everything I can think of. She rarely sleeps unless it's in an upright position on my chest unless she's had a few bad days then will crash in her basinette for a few hours, am sooo tired it' s not funny!!! Have been told I can 't give her anything cause she's so young, I've read some previous posts on wind and have tried all the tricks this morning. Have been up since 12.30am holding her while she slept due to wind then at 5am did the next feed and 'burped' her for 30-40mins, then the screaming started and has only briefly stoped for a few minutes a couple of times. Sine last feed I've tried rubbing her tummy in a clockwise motion, have put her on a pillow on my lap on her tummy and rubbed her back, have tried the bicycle legs/lifting her legs and the usual rubbing & patting her back holding her upright. She has screamed the whole time I've been doing all this, has sick 'burped' around 6 times a few small ones and a few medium sized ones....am at my wits end and am now crying myself!! Her basinette is raised at one end as suggested and yesterday tried giving her warm water in a bottle to calm her tummy but that didn't seem to do much either. Does anyone have any other ideas??? I need some sleep too!! Thank you
