Teething rash?

My son is 4.5mths and has a rash that started just after the teething seemed to get worse. There is no teeth yet.

Did anyone's baby have a rash and to what extent? It seems to have spread over his body. the dr says it could be heat rash and dermatitis, but possibly caused by teething.

DD had a mild rash on her neck and chest around the time she was teething, the dr just said it was a 'virus' (apparently thats what they say when they don't know!)
I guess if he's not unwell then you just have to wait it out...

Hope he gets better soon and those teeth pop up
