How do you DTD while co-sleeping

I have always wondered how you DTD while having a baby, toddler in bed with you?

    Do you move them over?

And still have sex right next to them?

Do you have sex less often?

Do you have sex with them in the same room as you? Doesn't that take away the mood?

MODS.. not sure where this thread should go!!! SORRY!

Just do it some place else...

One time we dtd in same room and yeah, it kinda killed the mood because we were trying so hard not to wak him.

I'd say do it somewhere else too (not that I have any kids yet or am co sleeping) but who knows it might spice things up doing it out of the bedroom or do you have a spare bedroom you can go to while your bub is sleeping in yours?

We just used the spare room (or the couch ). DH won't even do it with the cat or dog looking let alone a kid in the room.

    that's cute.

The only one time we had our DS in our room (albeit not in our bed) it completely killed the mood and we couldn't progress past starting and constantly worrying if he was awake.

So I'd say either do it in there when your kids aren't (being minded or at care etc) OR find other creative areas!

Just make sure you remove any signs if using the spare room I quickly cleaned out our spare room today, moved the box of condoms, but my brother found and empty wrapper while unpacking in there tonight

Bathroom works a treat for us and it's the only room with a lock on the door. Our youngest is in our room and with another 3 we don't take our chances.

TBH, we haven't tried - Since being back from Melbourne, we haven't DTD (mostly cause AF came back and DH wants to be careful) But when we were over there, we DTD with DS in the cot next to us and.. yeah, even though he was asleep, it was a bit of a buzz kill

    Hi!
DD2 starts off in her cot then moves to our bed during the night; we have been known to dtd whilst she is asleep. We kinda find it fun(ny) in not making any noise!
Other than that though, anywhere is good for us! I actually think that the bit of adventure it brings is a good thing for our relationship

All I'll say is... lots of places other than the bed hehehehehe. Being near Jazz is a total mood killer, so having sex with her in the same room wouldn't work for us.

We either dtd on the couch, on a foam matres on the lounge room floor or move DS onto his matress on our bedroom floor and dt in our bed with him in the same room. We have never woken him, though there are times i am worried he will wake up and see us and be scarred for life, though in reality even if we did wake him durig, he would be all groggy and not register what we were doing anyway

We co-sleep and yeah, definitely sex in the spare room!! and like others said, yes remove ALL evidence afterwards.....

Usually our dog comes in the room and follows us...... it's so hard getting couple time these days..... haha

My kids have all been in a cradle in our room for the first 8 months of their lives ... so we have scarred all of them on a regular basis We don't find it a mood killer to do it with them in the room and they don't wake up. I wouldn't do it with DD1 or DS in our room now, they are bit old and would probably be a bit scared if they happen to wake up.

We use our room the way we always have at bedtime - we turn lights on, get changed into our PJs, lie in bed and talk - none of that stuff has ever disturbed any of our kids from sleep so I guess DTD is just like anything else we do in our room.
