We did the sheet wrapping thing too but ultimately once the hands were out and he was rolling and wriggling all over the cot - it was useless too!
The sleeping bag has been brilliant and I have had a baby who has slept through the night since I bought it (well, except for a couple nights when he had gastro!) Well, worth it!
