I have no advice for you, sorry, but just wanted to offer support.

My DS still does these things a little (except never liked being wrapped), but still uses his dummy to go to sleep and sometimes just wants to sleep in my arms. I have found that if he does wake up after I put him down, I can often rock him or hold his hand and he will go back to sleep. Just wants to know I'm there if he wants me.
So, as i said, no advice, but they do seem to go through phases and hopefully your DS will be OK with sleeping in his cot again soon.
