Prettybutterfly, this may help for your skin (*warning may irritate it initially)
wash twice a day with Cetaphil wash. Only use cetaphil moisturiser (no other moisturisers, avoid heavy makeup. Wear mineral makeup if possible). There is a product called eventone glycopeel (avail. from your pharmacy). It is actually for fading discoloured skin but will renew new skin and therefore help acne scarring. Apply twice a week for 5 minutes then wash off. apply cetaphil moisturiser. do this for about a month then start using daily for 5 minutes after washing face. Protect skin with a mineral based sunscreen such as no zinc.
Use less often or discontinue use if irritation is severe (may have some peeling initially - rare). HTH.

    Hey Prettybutterfly.
Sorry if this post comes a little late- but I would definitely hold off on the antibotics until you know for sure if you are pg. Better to be on the safe side.
Also, you may wish to check out the Miessence range of certified organic skin care, personal care and mineral make-up. It is the purest available in the southern hemisphere (I have done my research on this one!!). There is heaps of information on their website.
Have you tried doing a detox with herbal supplements before? Poor skin condition is often a sign that your internal organs of elimination (liver, kidneys, bowels etc) are struggling with their toxic load, and so the body tries to eliminate extra toxins via the skin (another major organ of elimination). Usually this occurs in the form of sweat, but it can also lead to poor skin condition (eczema, acne etc).
I'm not implying that you are unhealthy at all- as we are all consuming toxins everyday in the air we breathe, the food we eat (pesticides on veges etc), and the water we drink (heavy metals, anyone?), and our bodies express this toxicity in very different ways.
    Just some suggestions......

    HTH
