Your situation is the same as mine this month. I am CD18 without a temp rise as well. I had a good week of fertile CM and O pains (as late as yesterday) but my temp has remained at 36.3 or 36.35. By now it'd be much higher. I'm really baffled.
once my temps rose two days in a row (about CD 20/21), FF marked CD18 as O day on my chart. But then when temp dropped slightly the following day... FF actually changed my O day, saying it was CD16! I have never had that happen before (and am a little skeptical I have to say). Now I am on CD26 and temp has gone up up up last three days. Feeling exhausted but not cranky, which is unusual for me at this stage of my cycle... so fingers crossed!

Will be interesting to see what happens for you. Are your cycles usually fairly consistent each month?
Looking at your chart I'd say CD18 was your O day. Your temps are quite rocky. I'm assuming this isn't usual for you either. At CD26 its great that your temps are still up there. FX for you.
I've not had any drama's since I started charting in February. My cycle is usually 28 days (give or take a few) with O either CD 14 or CD15.
I was really concerned that I wasn't going to O at all this month.
Thankfully my temp finally went up today, CD19. I have been sitting on 36.3 / 36.35 for most of the week. Today it shot up to 36.8 so I'm happy about that.
I'd have to agree that O was yesterday as I had stabbing O pain on Thursday night. I'm not sure if I should be concerned about the stabbing O pain though.
Great to hear that your temps are up now I don't noticeable get O pains at all... would love that extra indicator! I know, it was a terrible feeling thinking that I might just not O at all this month...
my temps are usually a little bit rocky...but not as much as this month! I have only been charting temp for roughly 3 months, so I am definitely no expert.
But I think if you are right and O day was CD18 for me, we may have missed the eggie this month... as we only BD'd on CD 15 and then were apart for a few days but we'll see soon. I am thinking I might even test on Monday morning if my temps haven't dropped much by then. Otherwise, keep going as usual until late Sep when we are off to see the FS.
My timing wasn't the best this month either. I kinda gave up. We BD's fantastically when I was meant to O but got slack after that.
My temp is still 36.8 today which I am really impressed with.
I don't usually get O pains either (maybe a niggle here and there) but I had really bad pains this time around. I wonder if that means a large healthy strong egg. Just my luck that I get a really good egg and I gave up BDing.
Fantastic that your temp is still up. I hope that it stays that way. Good luck for tomorrow morning!
OOOOOOOO!!!!! One I can maybe help with. I just bought a 3-pack of FR, and it came with a fertility test. It's not an OPK, it's a test you take on CD3 to see if your body has the follicle stimulating hormone in it. Check out First Response® - Fertility Test For Women for more information.
According to what I read, it will tell you if you have enough FSH to mature an egg for ovulation. If you don't, you won't have any eggs available to ovulate even with the LH surge. So if a negative FSH test, no need to check OPKs that month as you won't have an egg either. And as you only test on CD3, you only need one a cycle.
So, if you have either no FSH or no LH surge, you will not O. You need both, but that still won't guarentee that you will ovulate either - the temp rise will be the best indicator of that that you can do at home.
Ummm... this is all just research though. I can't remember well enough to temp daily... I have not had AF since my IUD came out last month so no chance to try OPKs yet (I might in a couple cycles if I don't get UTD by then), and I will likely use the Fertility test my next CD3. But I've done a LOT of studying on all this.
Thanks for the tip Buggzter! How nice of you to do all that research for us
I think AF is on her way so I won't be able to try the fertility test out this month.... I would have to order it online as I haven't seen those around and I live in a country town. I am off to the FS in about a month anyway. Best of luck to you with getting UTD quickly!
Have my fingers crossed for you Kat, all sounding promising with your temps so far. I know what you mean about BD on demand... it gets a bit much sometimes! Just counted, and this month now makes 15 we have been TTC. It's getting a bit draining, but I am going to try and stay positive!
