Clomid - how many cycles til you got a BFP?

Hi,


This is my first cycle on clomid and I'm in the middle of my TWW . I'm really, really, really hoping it works this month, but then, I thought 10 cycles ago when we first started TTC that I'd be a mummy by Christmas. It's just so depressing getting those and then having AF arrive.

Is the anyone out there who can tell me their clomid stories? Did it work for you? Did it take many months? Am I being overly optimistic hoping it will have worked this cycle?

Clomid worked on the 5th cycle for us. I remember 5 being a bit of a magic number around here.

Clomid works wonders for some people and others it doesn't work at all. Hang in there

3 cycles 50mgs missed m/c @ 7 weeks
too 2 cycle break while had HSG
3 cycles 50mgs m/c @ 10 weeks
1 cycle off 2 cycles 50mgs healthy perfect beautiful little boy
tried for 9 cycles no luck 3cycles 50mgs 2 cycles 100mgs m/c @ 7 weeks

since last m/c we had 1 cycle off and have done 6 @ 100mgs no luck though doign a natural cycle this month...so who knows miracles do happen

I took Seraphene (same as Clomid) ... we got a BFP after the second month of me taking the lowest dose - 50mg from memory. Good luck!

first time all thre times 50 mg ( 1 angel) and 2 preg. worked great i used it with metformin first but no met this time.

will pray that this is your last TWW.

Im taking clomid for the first time to. I start taking it tonight (Day 3 of my cycle). 50mg. I have endo and PCOS. I really, really hope it works too!

It worked (25mg) first cycle for me when we conceived DD. I'm TTC #2 at the mo so I will let you know in a few days if I get a BFP first time this time too....!

I tried it for 3 cycles but it didn't work. I got the most massive mood swings I've ever experienced in my life on it. I conceived 3 months after going off it on a natural cycle but that resulted in an early m/c.

2nd DS 18 months later we went again it took 10 cycles for a BFP
3rd DS IVF ( due to vasectomy )

I did one cycle on 50mg (crazy woman) then as Christmas 08 was going to coincide with me being a Clomid Crazy Cow and I had all the family coming we decided to go for a natural cycle and presto YAY.

Hi Bonnie

It took us 3 clomid cycles to fall with this little one. I found it best taken at night too as the side effects usually take place while you are sleeping.
