I never had blood tests to check levels, I had daily internal scans to check the eggs from about 5 days after finished the clomid.

I dont have experience with Clomid, though have wondered myself if it would change the ovulation date. But I just want to say even if he is leaving on the 30th, you are still fertile up a few days or so BEFORE ovulation (I think the range is 3 days before roughly. So you would still be in with a good chance

When did you ovulate with clomid?

On which days did you take it and when did you ovulate??

Sadie if you have regular 28 day cycles and ovulation cramping etc its likely that your body is working perfectly fine on its own. I would certainly give mother nature a fair go before complicating the situation with drugs - but thats my opinion, of course! If you are expecting to ovulate on the 30th, and your man leaves on that day, then having intercourse the night before he leaves, or morning that he leaves, (closest to ovulation) is recommended. I would strongly advise however that you both consult with a Naturopath who specialises in NFM (Natural Fertility Management) to enhance your chances of conception, and conception of a healthy baby. They will be able to recommend a pre-conceptual care program specifically tailored for you and your partner's needs - dietary requirements, vitamin & mineral requirements, heavy metal elimination etc. Friend's of ours spent 4 years trying to conceive naturally, then went to a Naturopath and were pregnant 3 months later. Of course everyones story is different but even if you are fertile myrtle - its good to do to increase health of sperm, egg & baby.

    Hope this helps!
