Red face Oh - what could possibly go wrong this month! This is so embarrassing!

This is our third official month of TTC again! If you have been following the saga, you'd know that it hasn't exactly been smooth sailing - a little hiccup always seems to be getting in the way!

If you don't know the story check out these threads (I apologise because I haven't worked out to put in a link and they may be a little buried):

Very personal question. What if the timing is right but DH doesn't want to? from 31 May 2007 - the story of our first official month of TTC when DH was not "up" to it!

Will we ever get this TTC off the ground? from 8 June 2007 when it looked like DH would have been o/s at O time in 2nd month of TTC - actually I O'd early when he was home but then got thrush -see below!

CM Help!!! What is this????? (probably TMI) - from 25 June 2007, our second month of TTC where I got thrush right at the critical time. GRRRRRRH!!! In that thread I said on 28 June - Stayed tuned to see what will go wrong next month!

WELL, ARE YOU INTERESTED? IT IS O TIME AGAIN!!!

I can happily report that this is probably the first month that we may have got the timing right - but poor DH

I am having a bit of a giggle and it is really not funny but if I don't keep my sense of humour I am going to go completely batty.

It is so embarrassing. for DH that is! He would kill me if he knew I was posting. I never knew that such a thing could happen. I really need to convince him to see a DR.

Can we assume there was a little performance anxiety? If so telling him to go to the Dr may not help - iit may make it worse.

Hope that this the month for you and it is a totally drama free pregnancy

    Gidget...I know your dilemma well!!!

We were LTTTC...and after month after month of 'scheduled' BD'ing...it all got a bit much!

DH ended up seeing the doctor for a bit of chemical support! It did wonders!!!

Oh Ladies you are cracking me up , Nope - not performance anxiety, no chemical support needed for that! We got goals in the post . DH is just a little sore about it!

Yep TaffyLou - that's exactly what DH said.

Sorry I am still PMSL but it is not really that funny on DH's part - he was a little chafed - OUCH! A bit sensitive - well it had been a month because of my thrush last month! (I just kinda hoping that this chafing thing isn't the male version of thrush!)

Catherine - yep, my DH will sympathise with Daniel - he has been there too! - twice already. I think he might want - no NEED is a better word - a break ATM! Not that long for you!

Thanks Mrs B26 - We are for third time lucky - too early to tell yet! (Next month, DH will probably be away!)

Chelle - yep, I have told DH that that is what I think it is. I am having a hard time (sorry - bad phrase!) getting him to go to the :doctor:. I have told him that he should have it checked because it is such an important piece of equipment for him and for ME!

Yes, arnt males s0000 stubborn! My DH had to go in the end...it got so bad...he said he was just so embarrassed...if you have any thrush cream, thats all they will give him anyway, he should use that!

    Gidget,
Thought I'd pitch in my 2 cents worth. Your DH should try a bit of Canestan cream. My DH has had symptoms similar to your DH's in the past when I've had thrush and the Canestan cleared it up straight away.
for a for you this month!

Thanks for the advice Principessa76 - now, where did I put the rest of that Canesten? Getting DH to use it will be the difficult part.
