Quick update - I have been put on herbs to increase my CM...
As such I have discovered that you can check internally as well as externally apparently I was a bit slow on working that out.
What I wondered is how people identify their CM...
ie/ is it sufficient to check underwear or is internally a more accurate discovery?

I just check mine before I go to the loo.
Sorry TMI!!! All I do is put my fingers a little way into my vagina and then see what the CM is like.

I don't think there is a best time to check it.
I read on FF that you should check it every time you go to the loo and record your most fertile CM.
So I guess if one time it seems sticky and another time it seems watery, that you record the watery CM.

I have to check internally, as I dont get any externally to check... (remeber to wash hands before)
I check every time I go to the loo when i think O is approaching...
And I look for my cervix, and get a bit from there...
I only check cp once a day though, at the same time every day, but with CM just go with the most fertile you observe in the day.

Oh thanks Ruf, it seems I have been a bit naive on this front, that really helps, will be trying that now on. Can't really check during the day or I'll be washing my hands constantly, lots of dirt and dust here.

I check my cm internally everytime i got to the loo when it is approaching o time. I aslo everyday, once a day in the shower check my cervix position. I do this as i dont get alot of cm and i find it helps to comfirm where i am at tin my cycle.
