Please help... I think I am going a bit crazy....
My husband and I are trying for a 'munchkin' and even though my next period is not due until 7th July - I am sure that I am pregnant. I feel super exhausted, hungry and feel like I could easily vomit. Surely I couldn't have pregnancy symptoms already???
Thanks so much for your encouragement! It's funny, even though I know it is sooo early to really know if I am positive, I kind of feel that I 'just am'... Here's hoping!
Do you think I should do a test a few days before my period is due - or is it best to hold out to avoid incorrect results??
I would recommend holding out as the earlier you try, themore likely you are to get a negative result (even if it is positive). The hormones need a bit of time to get to a detectable level for the home tests.
Hold out for as long as you can - or you may get a false negative.
I hope that you do get your BFP - there is something about intuition that tells some people. I had a friend who's Mum ran up and hugged her and said how wonderful it was that she was pg and it turned out that she was only about 5 dpo but she was.
Dont feel like your going mad! I am going through exactly the same thing at the moment. My period isnt due for another 3 days. But I have quite a few "symptoms", I cant even move without wanting to be sick! I have a gut feeling that i am, like you I just know! If you dont want to wait for a Home test, why dont you go to the doctor for a blood test?? They can detect really low levels of HCG, so you can find out much sooner. Fingures crossed for me, I had one taken last night, I get my results on sunday!

Oh my goodness - I am so excited for you! At least one way or another you will be put out of the agony of not knowing very very very soon! Best of luck to you for one big fat POSTIVE!
Either I really am pregnant or my mind is playing even crazier tricks on me... last night I had a slight stomach ache and I am my appetite and nausea are increasing by the minute... I really do hope I am not bringing on these symptoms because I am desperate for a BFP....... Aghhh, my period is not due for another 10 days.... this really is silly!
Your poor thing!! I really hope that you get a positive. Try looking at the 2 week wait part of the website I found that really helpful.
I just called the doctor, I get my results tonight... I am petrified. We werent tring for a baby, but because of the way i have been feeling I have gotten used to the idea, now I am so anxious.. I will be devistated if I am negative..
With both my pregnancies I "just knew" over a week before period was due, and everyone was telling me I was imagining it (especially as it was our 1st month trying with ds1 and 2nd month trying with ds2!!) I had *****les in my nipples from 2dpo, and felt nauseated at 4dpo. I was told that was impossible as implantation wouldn't have even happened yet, but there you go.
I got the results.. negative... In saying that my period is now late, and the doctor wants me to get re-tested in another couple of days.
Its weird. We werent even trying for a baby, but we both got so used to the idea of being pregnant, we were shattered when it was negative. So I guess one good thing has came from it, now we are going to start to try and get pregnant.
Oh.... I am so sorry! But, at least it has made you and your partner realise that you are in fact ready to start trying... it is such an exciting time!
I don't know how I feel - I am starting to get concerned that I really may have been wishing for the symptoms.... I have decided to not get to ahead of myself - I dont want to be dissapointed when and if I get a NEGATIVE....
