You're right Rach, thanks for putting my mind at ease.

I don't feel like anything is wrong... I guess I'm just being a bit hormonal. I'm just so worried that this will end in a loss again... and it was just so hard for me last time. It really helps knowing that I'm not alone in what i'm experiencing. U/S and BT even though i know my dates, so I'm just trying to stay positive and wait to see that little heart beat on the U/S.

    Fingers crossed til then.

    xx

Can you call your hospitals early pregnancy unit or clinic? Usually they are more then happy to order you some early blood tests to check your HCG is doubling and an early scan seeing as you have had one ectopic and tube removal in the past. Usually a midwife does this. Our hospital has this service and I would say going on your history they would be more then happy to give you a referral. I am sure everything is ok but if you get a referral for BHCG you wont have to wait as long as the end of the week. Your symptoms sound promising of a healthy pregnancy. It is normal to be concerned even without having had pregnancy losses before. Goodluck. I hope the next few weeks speed up and you get to see a healthy baby with a strong HB.

I have been told my a Dr the darkness of the lines usualy just means there is a lot of little ink in it. I wouldn't owrry in the slightest that the line isn't getting darker. Mine didn't get darker for a while and I am into a very healthy pregnancy.

I can completely understand your worry, but just sit back and enjoy being preg again. Take care of yourself and a HUGE congrats to you!!!

    Hey guys,

I'm sitting here in tears, so overwhelmed by the support!! LOL, thanks so much for your responses.

Emmy - that's very informative. I didn't know that they had anything like that at the hospital. I rang around and found a 24hr medical centre and although they were booked out, I told the nurse about my previous ectopic and she was great. She got me in at 7am this morning. So I've just had some bloods taken. The ultra sound isn't going to show anything for a few more weeks so I have to rely on blood work for now. will have results of the first quantitative test in 2 days, then i'll most probably need another. The doctor there also suggested the emergency room for anything as they'll triage me high priority due to my ectopic history. Your message was so beautiful, i really needed to hear that. thanks.

Pish, thank you and congrats to you also!!! You're probably right about the ink part too. I decided to ease my mind that I would try a different test just to be sure. I have been using forelife and first response and getting faint lines... so i bought a clearblue this morning and their lines are blue unlike the others which are pink.. so it looked a little darker to me. Perhaps they're more sensitive though? And you are so right Pish, I should be happy not worried! Its just a little easier said than done! haha.

Either way.. my blood work should give me some answers... I just wish it could happen faster!! LOL.

    CONGRATULATIONS BABE!!!

hope the BT puts your mind at ease, i have found the clearblue to be nicer to use than the FR...but that's just me...i find the pink like too hard to decipher...at least blue knows what it is doing lol!
