    Question Felt Ovulation?

So tonight while I was listening to DD read, I felt a bit of cramping and then a pop on my left ovary.

I done an OPK this arvy, and it was +ve.

Could this be Ovulation? Has anyone else felt this before?

Oooh at the pop, I've never felt that. But, once or twice, I have felt cramping around the time I knew I was ovulating. I'll be interested to see if anyone else has ever felt a pop!

I'm pretty sure I've felt a pop on a couple of occasions, I felt a bit crampy and twingy on the left side and then felt a pop, it was around 4pm, I didn't have any opk's but it would have been interesting to see if it was positive, AF arrived 2 weeks later right on time, so I'm pretty sure that what I felt was the eggie popping! Good luck!

never felt an actual pop but i have VERY painful ovulation each month, worse when its my left side. I guess its very possib;le that it was the egg popping out.

I thought it was the eggie making its way down! But wasnt too sure. How exciting :-) i was getting twinges and cramps too. There was also a swelling type feeling in the middle at the same time i was getting twinges and cramps.

Oh, dont know if any of you wonderful ladies followed one of my other threads about spotting on cd10 then again on cd12 but i actually ovulated twice last cycle! What a shame none of the were fertilised :-(

    Im excited now :-)

Yep! I've felt the pop, it was kind of like a release of tension on the left side, then I had serious cramping for 3 days afterwards, which I'm thinking was the egge moving down the fallopian tubes. Good luck with the egg catching!

naenae, I have NEVER felt ovulation before. No cramping, spotting, discomfort.... nothing. A few months ago, around the time I knew I was due to O, I woke up at 3am with a huge pain in my lower right abdomen. It built up over the course of 10 minutes or so and was so bad that I was curled up in the foetal position, moaning. (DH, of course, slept through it all!!!) I then felt a distinct 'popping' sensation on the lower right and the pain started to ease off. I felt a bit of residual soreness for the next couple of days.

Fast forward 8 days and I had a BFP. Dates confirmed with two US's I conceived that night (DH and I DTD before going to sleep) and I conceived with an egg released from my right ovary... I guess it's safe to say what I felt was ovulation!! Good luck naenae, I hope you catch that eggie!!

I always get the "pop" as well as cramping and very distinct chance in cm, I have recently started temping too so it will be interesting to see if I am really as in tune with my body as I think, although right now I know I am not.
