I have high prolactin and so does minniemouse.

High prolactin is not always caused by a benign tumour. Sometimes it is just idiopathic. Those tumours very very rarely turn into anything dangerous or deadly. The MRI is just checking if you have one, and if so, what size (micro <10mm, or macro >10 mm) where it is and whether it is putting pressure on your optic nerve.

There are drugs you can take to lower your prolactin, like dostinex. Seemed to work fairly quickly for me and my levels maxxed out at about 1400 once!

Prolactin (pro lactate) is the hormone we have in high levels when breastfeeding which suppresses ovulation and it is one common reason why women have ovulation disfunction.
