They did both JM, they did on my lower belly/upper thigh area first, for about 1 minute. Then she said to go pee (thank goodness!) and come back and have a TV one. I have a retroverted uterus as well as the excess weight, so I knew it was gonna happen. She did the TV, measured the endometrium (said it was unusually thick), measured both ovaries, measured the one large cyst and commented that there were several follicles. And that was it. No, you're not being rude hon I know my weight is an issue and I'm working on it.

The pain is not so new, but the lump is. I can't see it, I can only feel it, it's very hard. Just today I've started getting the pain I usually get when a cyst bursts, it's always on this side, so perhaps it'll burst on its own. NOT looking forward to that, the normal ones are bad enough, but if it's what I can feel from the outside, it's not gonna be pretty!

Thanks for your advice JM, it's very helpful

I would be concerned if that is the cyst you can feel on the outside. That would be a pretty substantial size and could possibly cause problems when it ruptures. Are you going back to dr to discuss u/s findings? Make the dr palpate the lump if you do and tell him it is definitely new. x

He said not to worry about coming back until I was at my weight goal, that he would call me if there were any problems with any of the tests he gave me...

well that would be fine if you didn't have a new large lump that was concerning you?! If you don't feel comfortable going back and see him then you could just go to another dr specifically about the lump...
