I don't really remember my CM when I had my last preg! I don't usually get any discharge (wow lovely word eh? lol) particularly around my period which is what caught my attention in the first place. I thought that pre-AF was usually rather dry? It *is* a sort of . . . 'dry' feeling mucous but there's a fair bit of it. What the? Lol. I confuse myself.

edit: I asked DP and he says I sound pregnant? Aparently this is all similar to when I was preg with DD. Also, CM has changed from 'dry' feeling to . . . thin and wet feeling?

I'm going to do a HPT tomorrow. I've got a few preg symptoms but they could be AF symptoms too. I've had hot flushes, headaches, lower back pain, mild cramps, and moodiness. I thought I was gonna get AF days ago cos I was SO emotional and flipping out everywhere. I'm nauseas too actually but I'm sure it's too early for that! It has occured to me that perhaps my last AF wasn't actually AF but preg bleeding like I had with DD. Probably not but, I think it was a bit too heavy for that. Ah, confused!

Ok I had another good think, and sometimes before you get AF, you can have that wet CM. It is when the corpus luteum cyst (where the egg came from) breaks down and you get a hormonal release then AF comes...

But.... you do get extra cm in pregnancy... So I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you a big and

If your cervix is low & slightly opened I would expect it's AF & not pregnancy. With pregnancy your cervix will stay high, but with AF it comes down low. The hardness & softness is an individual thing from what I understand, your version of soft & my version might be different IYKWIM.
