no bleeding during the sugar pill week

hello there,

my fiance has just finished her 7 days of sugar pills where she would normally bleed. she however has not, at all, except for one time where a slight brown mark appeared a few days ago (implanon bleeding?) we are a little worried that she may b pregnant as this has never happened. just a bit of background, she was on a normini pill and she upgraded to the same pill just the expensive original one about 30 days ago. now i dont know if this can affect her bleed or not? we use condoms also, however at times we have started off unprotected but always put a condom on. she has been late taking her pill by about 4-6 hours on 3 times as well. i have not noticed any symptoms of pregnancy as of yet, but i dont know what will happen during the week?

it is quite strange not to get a bleed when taking the sugar pills, though it sounds like you guys were very careful. you could try a pregnancy test and if that comes back neg then i would go and see the GP. it could be that the new pill doesnt suit her and they can try another one.

Not to alarm you.. but i had the exact same scenario and 9 months later DS was born. Changing from the non expensive to the expensive should have no effect at all as they are the exact same ingredents.
I would honestly get her to do a pregnancy test asap before she starts taking any more pills.
