    Once breast feeding has stopped how long till AF?

    ONce you have stopped BF-ing - how long has it usually taken for AF to return?

    With DD#1 she weaned at 8 months. By 10 months i had AF. I would think everyone is different though.....

    With DD, we slowly weaned over 2 months. Once she fully stopped, I got AF back 4 days later! So we were 8 months. Everyone is different though.

    With both my kids I got AF while bfeeding, it's a long time ago but I think it was after dropping back to 2 feeds a day - both kids were around a year old.

    With the 2 girls it was exactly 1 month after but DS it was about 2 weeks.

    Wow so you would say that you could O within 2 weeks of stopping BF-ing mrsmac?
    Ok well we will see how long it takes for AF to come back so we can try for #2! yay!

    AF returned during the 2 months of weaning DD started tiying for FET 3 mths after AF returned no luck yet though, just one lost angel.

    Thanks Nurse DAn, Yes i have not gotten af yet - dd is fully weaned now as of a week ago.
    Will see how it goes!

    I weaned Oscar over a month and 1 month later AF came back (only a week ago)

    I never got af back at all!!! Fell p/g again when Louis was 9m old! LOL!

    Well had pains last night... so not sure what that mean... quite sharp on the left side and now i little all over discomfort...

    we will see i guess

    i wonder what ov feels like

    Sounds like it could be ovulation pains!!! I felt those ttc Louis....worth dtd just in case!!!
