is it possible to ovulate 2 days after AF finishes

hi everyone.. just as the topic states:

"Is it possible to ovulate 2 days after the completion of AF?"

I saw EWCM 2 days after the end of my period and was quite surprised.. and thought that i may have ovulated then..

technically it would have been Cycle day 8 or 9.. (chart below for more detail)

i hope i didnt miss it

Anything is possible......I was on day 9 of my cycle, so a few days after the completion of AF....on that day we DTD (only once) and 2 1/2 weeks later to my surprise BFP. Unplanned pregnancy, I thought I was in the safe zone and never in a million years did I think I would get pregnant. I always had ovulation pains on day 13-14 of cycle. Either I ovulated earlier or a swimmer survived until I O'd. Good luck.

It is possible - anything is possible!

I find I get a lot of EWCM during AF, I don't know how normal that is, but I'm wondering whether it is maybe some of that lingering? Looks like you only need one more high temperature to confirm ovulation, so it could just be a matter of wait and see.

I'd also not assume that it was definitely ovulation then - it is unusually early, so I'd continue to keep your bases covered and continue BDing and charting carefully until you are absolutely sure you have ovulated.

    Good luck!

You can have EWCM for 5 or 6 days before you ovulate. It means you are probably fertile but doesn't necessarily mean you are ovulating. I notice your previous cycle seems to have been annovulatory - are you just coming off BCP or Depo? Because that can really mess up your cycles.

I would keep BDing until you are sure you have ovulated. Sometimes you may have several patches of EWCM in your cycle, especially leading up to ovulation.

Also, don't give up on the OPKs - what time of day are you doing them? I have found the best time of the day is 1pm, and make sure you don't drink any water/empty your bladder for at least 2 hours (pref 3) beforehand. Some don't ever see technical positives, but take the darkest they see as a positive.

Google "lunar fertility" it says you can also Ov when the moon is in the same position it was in when you were born, which can explain why some people can fall PG at less fertile times. Then when it co-incides with your normal cycle you can be super fertile.
