Anyone ever see a faint 2nd Pink Line???

Hi All,

Has anyone ever seen a faint pink second line on their pregnancy test? Is this normal to see the second line so faint always, or is the possibility of pregnancy there???

Today I'm four days away from AF, had a lite bit of spotting today and have felt that AF coming since Sunday but nothing yet. Did a First Response test this afternoon and got one strong pink line and one very faint line.

Would love to hear about your experiences?

ETA: as long as its not an evap line- that is a line that came after hours of sitting around.

Sounds like the line is faint because you've tested pretty early, I rekon try hold out for a couple of days and test again. Good luck, sounds like a bfp to me!!!

I'd retest again in a few days but if it came up straight away and NOT after the 10 min mark then a second line is a +ve result. If you waited and read the test AFTER 10 min then its a false +ve.

If you test early & it's a positive it's often very faint....mine have all been very faint.

Congrats delphmoon on your pregnancy. What day of your cycle did you test when you saw the faint line?

The thing that is bumming me out is that the Austar man came knocking on the door when I was mid stream so I didn't get to check out the stick until he left which was about 15/20mins.

NaeNae - no unfortunately no pics. I think it must be a false anyways.

So I am guessing it is an evap line then It's been so long since I have done a HPT.

I will test again on Friday....if I can wait that long!

Yes that is how my line looked, very hard to see but definitely a colour and definitely there.

Yup i got a very faint positive test and i now have an 11 month old

My tests with DD were really feint for just over a week. Them I got a darker line and stopped testing

I had faint lines up to day 27, positive bt day 28 and a very strong line a few days later when I wanted to double check Also was convinced I was getting af because I was having shocking cramps!

So surprise surprise I couldn't wait...I tested this afternoon again! I honestly thought about it all day and wished I had tested this morning.

So this is what showed up....??? Thoughts??? It showed within the 10min time frame!

I'm very skeptical...although I've had period like cramps often today but nothing and not due till Sunday..argh!

CONGRATULATIONS looks like a BFP to me. Mine was exactly the same a few days before my period was due. My DD is now 3months old.

That is exactly how this pg started, I tested at 5 days before af was due with first response. The line got darker and now I am over 17 weeks! Congrats I do believe you have yourself a positive hpt!!!

Thats how mine looked!! I used the midstream purple ones. You had to squint and hold it by the window to see it, but that was only about 9DPO.
Then at 12 days I got a very nice positive.
I think congratulations might be in order!!
