So if you're tandem feeding AND you never have sex.....
The chance of actually getting pregnant would have to very slim huh?...like tiny...barely non existent I would say....wouldn't you? (Ok..by "never" having sex I mean ONCE in the past year pretty much!).
No need to reply...I just needed to think *out loud* so to speak..
Slim, yes. But if it's the right time of month, then not so slim. A friend of mine was still b/f her dd and AF had not yet returned when her and her dh dtd, and she ended up falling pg. He works away, and it was the only time they dtd that month!
Thanks girls...I've been thinking very deeply about this over few mins..and I *think* that there must be another way, besides DTD, to get pregnant. That must explain it!
I'm shaking.....(because I am thinking about all the washing I'll have to do )
LOL - sorry... just had to have a good laugh at this thread.
First off - congratulations!
I think the only thing out of your list that 'should' be reliable contraception is the 'never having sex' thing LOL. Tandem feeding never stopped me getting my cycle & being fertile again (mind you... didn't test it out.. but had a beautiful cycle after 5 mths.. so am assuming was pretty fertile). But hahahaha... I can honestly tell you I would have been posting the exact SAME thing if I had fallen pg in the first year of DD's life... I'd be adding co-sleeping with 2 children to the list too LOL.
But that is just sooo exciting! Just think - soon you will be feeding THREE!! woo!
