doctors appointment is tonight @ 10.15pm, so still 12 hours away.. took the day off work today just to relax. we're having dinner with mum tonight.

so i woke up around an hour ago, went to the loo, wiped.. it seems to be just a bit of brown discharge now (really happy it's not blood anymore.. lets hope)

it's just so scary!! i know the first 12 weeks are very important, just don't want to do anything wrong. so you worry about every little thing lol.

Awww nothing worse than worry! Please try not to worry too much hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about. Some women have irregular bleeding in early pregnancy it is just "one of those weird pregnancy things"

Awww nothing worse than worry! Please try not to worry too much hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about. Some women have irregular bleeding in early pregnancy it is just "one of those weird pregnancy things"

i will definitely enjoy dinner! chinese night... home made honey chicken with fried rice.. is that going to be OK to eat? lol

i know it's so late :-( probably won't even get to have a blood test or anything because all the nurses have already gone home for the night. but i just asked for their next available appt! funnily enough i would normally be asleep by that time too haha.

I've eaten soft cheese & ham all pregnancy. As long as it's fresh and hygenic I don't worry

Mine is going well love EDD around 30 March 2013! Seems like ages away!

Your dinner sounds delicious and will be absolutly fine to eat The only foods I stay away from are:

Deli products (ham, Salami, soft cheese) HOWEVER I do eat pizza with Ham / Pepperoni etc - I figure it's blasted under a 300 Degree Celcius Oven if you eat it while it's hot it should be all good!)
Buffett Foods (or any foods kept warm for convenience)
Soft Serve Ice cream
Sushi (raw and cooked)
Wine / Beer / Spirits (just common sense really)

Just use your instincts with eating, they will usually serve you well

I considered carefully whether to make this post - your joy at your pg radiates off the screen and I don't want to dampen it!

Please make sure you ask your doctor for a referral for a series of quantitative HCG blood tests. Whilst some bleeding in pg is not uncommon, the heavy bleeding you have described is concerning. If you have experienced a miscarriage only days ago, it's possible that you still have enough HCG in your system to result in a positive pregnancy test (or three). The First response tests are particularly sensitive and pick up only a very small amount of HCG. A series of quantative blood tests over the next week or so will show whether your HCG is rising (indicating a pg) or falling (indicating a loss of pg).

I'm sorry if I have given you cause to worry. It's important after the heavy bleeding you have described to be sure that all is well and the only way to do so prior to 6 weeks or so gestation is with a series of blood tests. I truly have everything crossed that the results are great and you enjoy a happy and healthy pregnancy.

uhh now i'm even more worried! but i understand why you wrote the post, cause you care. thank you for sharing your thoughts.

after we done the first 3 pregnancy tests with the (First Response) we then went back to the chemist and got 2 cheap different brands, and 1 really pricey LCD one. all 6 tests that we done last night were all positive.

but you're right... i'm really scared and puzzled as to why i "assumed" the heavy bleeding was AF, but then pregnant 3 days later... sigh

just trying to relax and stay positive.

I know what Nickle wrote was hard to read, I certainly felt sad reading it... but it was probably a prospect that needed to be mentioned...

Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do at this point in time to change the course of events. What will be, will be So only worry darling when you have to OK?
