Hi Girls,

Well Friday arrived & no sign of AF! DH and I decided earlier last week that if we got to Friday & there were no signs of AF (ie. brown spotting etc) that I'd do a HPT with my 1st urination on Friday morning (as the test says it is more accurate doing the test with 1st wee in the morning!). So anyway, I did the test, waited for a few minutes and got 1 line - BFN

I actually wasn't too surprised as my friend who is a sonographer told me that my HCG levels will not rise until implantation has taken place - she said the day your period is due is to soon to be testing. I couldn't wait any longer, so yeah, we did the test and got a negative result. DH was really dissapointed - which was reasurring actually... because it meant that he is really ready for this and it's something that he does want, not just doing it cause I want to.

So today's Sunday and I still don't have my period! Boobs are still very enlarged & sore - mind you, they have been like this since ovulation! Today it was raining (thank god cause we sure as hell need it!), and I was sooo tired. I layed on the couch all day & had a snooze this afternoon which was nice.

Now I'm playing the waiting game YET AGAIN! I reckon they should call it the 3 week wait, not the 2 week wait!

My sonographer friend says I should wait till the end of this week to test again (that would make me 5 wks preg if I get a positive at the end of this week to come). This friend of mine is pregnant herself - 31wks now. She said she had an implantation bleed 2 days before her period was due (that was a Sunday), it lasted 2 days. Then 2 days after that she had really really tingly sore nipples that kept her awake at night & then did her HPT the following Sunday which was positive.

What does everyone think I should do? I've had no implantation bleed & now 2 days late for period.... should I wait a week to test again???? I could be totally jumping the gun here too... I could be just late for my period for no reason at all!
