Hmm, my tips are or were
    - didn't think about a baby while DTD
    - took Evening Primose Oil up till "O"
    - hardly DTD
    - DTD just before I went to sleep. That way it flowed through me as I slept.

It basically helps with your cervix and CM.
I found that when I took it, I noticed alot more EWCM as I don't get it.

what a good idea for a post!!

we are trying for our second...it has not been that long, but it feels like it...and I am beginning to wonder what we did the first time...

Drink heaps of water for better CM (or so they say)
I did not take Evening Primrose, but I am this time
Make love with him on top, or doggy or side by side rather than you on top, standing up.........let gravity do some work !!
Try different times of the day....a friend of mine believes this....hey, if you can during the day, why not?
    Drink Grapefruit juice
Check your CM often to get use to what it should be like during your fertile time...

I am trying to take my own advice here...

    Good luck to you!

Shinee - they recommend that you every 2nd day during your most fertile stage. Reason being, the more you the more that your DH don't have time to regroup and get a bigger load...

Sperm can live up to 4days aswell...

I was a long term TTC girl: took me over 3 years to finally hold my little Olivia in my arms, and so we tried just about every remedy I ever heard of!!

We had a thread about it a while back.....click HERE

Well i tried absolutely everything and didn't succeed. i gave up hope and we DTD once for the whole month (I thought it was way past O) and I am actually pregnant.

i still can't believe it happened, i think i am waiting for a visit from the angels to tell me that its an immaculate comception

The things we did differently that time that we DTD I was on top and i had a shower straight afterwards, then got completely ****ed for the next two weekends [-X So I basically did everything you are not supposed to do 8-[

i really hope that this is your lucky month, it will probably happen when you least expect it

    Hi there,

The month we got lucky, I used preseed for the first time (love that stuff!!) Magic! I was temping and using OPKs which was important as I had VERY long cycles. We BD the night I got a positive OPK, and the following night.
We BD'd missionary position, then I put a pillow under my bum, and fell asleep (ie: didn't get up straight away).
    That's it I think!
Although preseed is expensive, I think it's worth it's weight in gold!

Ok this worked for me after 6 months trying, first month bam!! Also worked me 2 of my friends and I also know that it worked first go for Racca.....

    WEEK BEFORE OVULATION:

    Guaifenesin Syrup
    a/k/a Robitussin
DO NOT EXCEED 6 doses in 24 hours.
The Guaifenesin Syrup merely thins the mucus
you already have making more it
    sperm friendly
easier to swim to their destination!

    Good luck girls!!

Oh and I also did this

    Aspirin

Take only one (1) per day. Low dose 80mgs

Start at any time of cycle.
Aspirin is known to suppress natural
killer cells in the uterus, so it is used
    for those with immune problems.
    Because Aspirin thins your blood,
it also improves blood flow to the ovaries,
    improving follicle development,
and improves blood flow to the uterus,
improving the quality of the uterine lining.
This increases the odds that implantation will
be successful. Also, during pregnancy, it will help
prevent miscarriage or fetal demise in those
prone to blood clots. Having blood clots form in the
placenta and/or umbilical cord is the cause
of many of these pg losses.

Asprin is taken every day for the entire cycle. Robitussin is taken a week before ovulation.
