If you had an ectopic pregnancy would you tell the guy you were seeing?

Not seeing each other any more, just friends now. It wasn't serious. He knows you haven't been feeling well at all and this explains why . . .

is it a waste of time and just causes drama for no reason or does he have a right to know?

It depends. If you weren't in a relationship anymore, then I suppose that you wouldn't *have* to tell him if you didn't think it was necessary, but then he might still like to have known about it ( I don't know if he has a right to know kwim?) , especially if you are still friends and he knew that something was going on with you.

personally, if it wasn't a serious relationship, i wouldn't tell. when i was 20 i had a 1-night stand with a friend and got pregnant. due to a lot of factors, including a bacterial blood infection, i had a termination and never told him. he went on to have a child with someone else a year later, so i was glad i'd never mentioned it.

ultimately, it's up to you but if there was no chance of the baby surviving, and it wasn't a serious relationship, i wouldn't tell.
