Can anyone tell me about progesterone cream?

I have a short LP and am on vitex, but I was wondering about progesterone cream. Dr Google tells me that it can be used for luteal phase defects and should be used from ovulation to period.. Does anyone have experience with this? Does it work? Where do you apply it? TIA

I was using it along with Vitex as well. I got it from the Naturopath, and I used it every day after ovulation. It was 3-5mg which was just one 'pump' (it was a pump bottle) and I was told put it on the softer parts of my body (tummy, inside legs/arms ect). To be honest I don't think it worked, it did help my LP by a day but I didn't fall pregnant on it. But I'm still glad I gave it a try. HTH

I also used it, I got it from my naturopath and used it- I got a BFP so continued to use it slowly weaning off it til 20weeks (I was to scared to stop it) Can't say whether it worked or not could be a coincidence.

My first resulted in a mc and after talking to a naturopath he advised me to use progesterone cream, on cubital fossa (bend inside of elbow) 2 - 3 times a day I think I used it and conceived a few months after starting, I had to wean myself of it as I was scared of mc. I was also taking a vit B complex at same time.
