Hi,
I have to say, it wouldn't be 'safe' to have unprotected sex at this stage.
Ok so even though I have had 3 children, i have no idea bout charting or fertile stuff - we just sorta did it whenever and I *luckily* got pregnant.. LOL I know when I ovulated though - so at least thats something.
Now - just say DH got lucky tonight (thats not to say he WILL, this is simply hypothetical.. lol) is it safe to not use any form of protection? I stopped bfing about a week ago, and haven't got AF yet, nor do I have any cramps or anything which usually indicated that I was ovulating, or just about to.
I got AF back after the other two when they were about 8 weeks old - so technically I should be ok yeah? Yeah?
Whatcha's reckon? I don't have the pill or anything cos I'm not going to take it again, and we do have condoms but I detest them, so would rather use nothing - or do nothing.. bwahahahahahaha
Hi,

You'll probably be OK...BUT...... I would get a condom just to be sure, someone my DH works with has 2 kids that are 10 months apart....ekkkk!
Just saw you have condoms and hate them....sorry, but I don't know if it's worth the risk iykwim...
I wouldn't unless you really want to have another in 9ish months time!!! Better to be safe than sorry!
Bahh.
Oh well, poor DH

Hmm well i wouldnt give it 100% trust. I mean i was charting to NOT fall pregnant and look what happened? lol. Plus you havent got AF back yet so who knows when you'll O next.
Well you did say you want number 4 Mel
Seriously though, there's probably a pretty low chance considering you're only just a month post birth, but would you really want to risk it?
I bet she works perfectlyYou just don't want her to work *too* perfectly

He can always pull outThat's not failsafe either and if it were me, I wouldn't want to be tempting fate LOL
Mel...trust me!..you can NEVER be too careful! We dtd once in the last 6 months and look where it has got me(no af..no signs that I was o'ing..tandem feeding round the clock).
When you least expect these things, they happen!!
(Let me send you some of my all day sickness to refresh your memory about what being pregnant is like!)
Just remember that sperm can live for like 5 days ( i think its around that) so even though you may not feel like you are ovulating now you may in a few days and they will be lying in wait!!
I say to just withdraw at that critical moment, plus there is plenty of other intimate things you can both do without actually penetrating so get creative and enjoy![]()
My mum concieved my sister when i was a month old she thought she couldnt get pregnant so soon after having a baby but then came my sister, we are 10 months apart
I have to agree with the withdrawl method if anything.. me and DP had been doing that for years and nothing happened the one time we decided what the heck i got pregnant.. which i didnt think i would as having PCOS god only knows how often i ovulate.
bbwwwaaahahahahahahahaha
oh wait your serious?? try telling that to my DH hi sidea of getting romantic is saying "wanna play" and he wonders why I am in the mood so frequently
Seriously though Mel - I wouldn't risk it just to be on the safe side these things have a tendency to blow up in your face ... oh thats rude ... but my sil was on the pill an dis due to give birth in Feb so I wouldn't risk it
