Cake dunce wants a silicon kugelhopf - not too expensive?
I have admitted defeat - I just can't cook cake that's not soggy in the middle. I follow recipes exactly and it just doesn't work.
So I figured one of those kugelhopfs would be a good solution - there's no middle of the cake to go soggy!
I know Tupperware sell them, but I also know how much the Tupperware ones cost, and while I don't doubt they're good, I want to know - does anyone know where I could buy a silicon kugelhopf for cheaper than a Tupperware one??
Nelle, I have seen kitchen shops that have them for lots less $$ than the tupperware ones. But thats in new south, so dont' know any shop names for down there sorry. But I like your thinking ROFL.
I've heard that you have to be wary of the cheap silicone ones - apparently they can have other stuff in them. Tupperware's are supposed to be 100% silicone so thats why theyre more expensive.
Then again, maybe thats just what tupperware say!
