ha ha halove it!
Its my cleanest appliance too, i'm forever making sure its clean and shiny. I'm about to use Esther (thats her name, cause Esther is the bester) to make a Pavlova.
and i''m not crazy, i know bester isnt a real word but it sounds good lol
Oh! a name! I'll have to think of a name.
What rythmes with Boysenberry?
Joys 'n Merry?
I'm seriously considering one, ladies, but they are $800 at Matchbox!!!! Convince me, ladies, convince me!! So that I can convince DH....
Yeah I wouldn't pay $800...have a bit of a shop around! Mine's called Clive. Not sure why. Green like chives? Nickle, if you have a look at some of the videos on youtube, you can see some of the things you can do with it, and get a better idea of what the attachments do?
Nae, why don't you consider something like the grating attachments? You might use it a bit more that way? Especially in summer with salads and things. And in winter you can do vegies for chips...or anything! It's on my (considerably sized) wish list.Or even the mincer with sausage stuffer attachment, if you like the idea of making your own sausages?
Woot PO5! It wasn't a ps3 after all!
Yep. we got ours from Your Home Depot too, best price I found onlineTried to get 'House' to match it, but the lady told me that she can't possibley sell it for any less that what she has on it, and tried to explain how expensive they are, and how YHD must be selling it at a loss. I said, I don't care, obiously it's working for them and if it's cheaper somewhere else I'm buying it from there. She was a bit stunned.
MY KA is also the cleanest applicance, I love giving it a rub to shine it up. Used it again to make rissoles, minced my beef, grated my onion and carrot. I only wish it would peel my potatoes and sweet potatoes. Then I might consider marrying it.
ETA: I considered price matching withonline shops, but didn't see the point when I could just buy it at Your Home Depot without the fuss of getting them to match itGood reviews from YHD, and they had the attachments I wanted too.

thanks for the tips on where to get it online!!!! Will have to make sure I drop some major hints now, DP went and priced them locally for me as a xmas pressie and they were $800 here too.. and he decided far to $$ but I think if its at the $650 mark I can work on him![]()
His name shall be Keith...dont ask me why it just came to me and I thought he was a boy as soon as I saw him
Ive been browsing and I think my first attachment will be the grater/slicer thingy. Im spewing I cant test him out today but there is not enough room in the kitchen for more food as we are having a party tonight but look out tomorrow Im planning a hangover cook off![]()
Po5 I've got my eye on the slicer attachment as well. They are some great bargains on Amazon including the cover![]()
I'm slinking in. we used KA at tafe and i fell in love with them. but sadly a) our kitchen has very, very little bench space and $$ is tight. but maybe i'll be able to save up for one of thease after we move....
I have very little bench space in my kitchen too sadly, but my KA is pretty much never off the bench.
I feel like I am neglecting my KA by not having any attachments for it yet. Buying some attachments shall be my New Years resolution!
We've made pizza dough in mine tonight. So easy! The first thing I need to buy is an extra bowl (or 2) because I am constantly wanting to make different things at the same time.
Waaaaa! In jealous of you all!!
Think I might try hit up the fan to put
money in for one for my 23rd XD
Snap Lisa, i made pizza dough too (after my pav that is)
