BD i work full time as well and honestly once you get the hang of things you will wonder how you survived without your thermo.
tonight for example im out so its DH and DD to fend for themselves, but instead of getting take away coz DH can not cook to save himself, ill whip up a quiche.
I make my short crust pastry in thermo in about 90 second, then bake for 10-15....
in the mean time i chop up 200g cheese in thermo, chop up 200g bacon, i had chop 5 spring onions and chuck them in and then add 3 eggs, 200ml light cream, mix it together and by then the pastry is done, put the mix in and bake for 20 mins and their dinner is done. the quiche Lorraine recipe is in the EDC.
thats just one example of how quick i can make a dinner....
meatballs are really quick to make too....
let me know if you would like a recipe
risotto is a big fave for me, 20 mins and dinner is done and i dont have to stand there
