Got all my cooking done. The TMX made it dead easy. At one stage I had both bowls full of chicken mince waiting to be rolled, I couldn't go fast enough!
If only there was a TMX for house cleaning...!

If only there was a thermomix for shopping I did online and managed to get 4 packets of baby capsicums when I didn't want any! Have made a few more things scrolls vegemite and cheese ham and spinach - potato and leek soup from EDC which was good. Butter chicken from EDC which had so much sauce that I then added loads of vegetables and had double the portions - not sure if I went wrong or not. Away with work next week so just trying to cram in some more TMX ing over weekend. All in all very happy with it everything an improvement on previous cooking which wasnt hard and I love the scales in it.

wysiwyg - I use organic oats for porridge. I just cook them for 15 minutes instead of the 8 or so in the recipe.
OP - the machine for housecleaning is called a robot vacuum cleanerIt can't do everything, but it sure helps. Like today, I had the robotvac on whilst cooking breakfast in the TMX and wasting time on the computer

So do organic ones not dissolve so much? I like my porridge to have plenty of texture and so far have found the pricier the oats the more they breakdown. With the cheaper ones I reduce cooking time and have higher milk to water ratio as water seems to break them down more.

Speaking of sticky mush I attempted gnocchi today - was way too sticky ended up having to pipe it, but I used wrong type of potatoes so that was part of it. It was quite tasty with the Tomato Pasta Sauce which I was amazed at how good it tasted and I now have lots of gnocchi in the freezer :-)Ah. I like my porridge to be a sticky mush
I spoke with my aunty who has one and her experience with the bread rolls from EDC was same but she gave me name of good recipe "Bestest bread rolls ever" and loads of people on there had failed with the EDC one which made me feel better.
I have used up most of my abundance of baby capsicums - stuffed risotto in some, roasted others and made a dip (my own mash up of recipe in the EDC). Did a morrocan beef thing in it which was good but again way too much sauce but then just added in loads of veg to make a load more dinners so all in all a winner.
Three TMX thoughts have had this weekend - 1. They should make a sponge which fits on like butterfly to assist with cleaning bottom and sides (it is not hard to clean but I thought this would appeal to the lazy like me). The same for drying it put in a sponge and give a few spins to dry it.
2. Does anywhere "chain" recipes so put together stuff you can make in sequence without having to thoroughly wash and dry bowl. I am more of a use solidly for a bit and make lots of stuff than a use frequently sort of person (dictated by work a bit - my TMX and I will be separated again for the week) so limited bowl cleaning and drying appeals.
3. What is best gift can get for hosting a demo? I can't do July so what should I be waiting for to appear as demo host gift (I got tool kit with my machine)
