Well, I was better yesterday, ate ok, no exercise though and not what I should have done . DH is home and is sabotaging me, I don't think he means it, but he's just really not helping me, even though he said he would and that he wants to eat healthier and lose weight too.... And we went to mums for dinner, though not really a bad meal- a roast (YUM!!) I ate too much of it, then had a mini weiss bar. Lucky I was pretty good for the rest of the day.

C'mon ladies we can do it!!! Lets get motivated again...we'll all be gorgeous together!!

Wow on the BFP! Woo hoo!

Kel - I know what you mean about DHs. Mine insists he is overweight but he really doesn't look it. He had hot chips for lunch twice last week but I resisted even though it was in front of me. Don't think you have to be perfect every day because you want to make a long term change and if you always feel deprived it is harder to stay on it. Oh and weiss bars aren't too bad. Which is good cos they are soo yum! But I agree - we are all going to be gorgeous and fabulous together. I think it is awesome having this challenge for motivation. I feel more motivated than I ever have before!

    Congrats on the BFP!!

I went for a small walk this morning, about 10 mins, will walk for about an hour this afternoon! (must make myself! - the reward? I get to pick my dh up from work this afternoon!! Not a big woop, but, seeing I'm not supposed to be driving that car, it's a big deal!) I have the start of a cold and too much housework! I never feel like I have any energy til the afternoon, what can I eat/drink/do to motivate in the morning, esp like right now, when ds is asleep?

Congrats TK on the BFP. I know it has been something that you have had to work very hard for.

Why? Why is this week so hard, I think I'm doing the same as last week as far as exercise and eating goes, but don't seem to be losing any weight, i think i've actually put on a few hundred grams. ahhhh. Makes it very hard to continue,

TK- WTG on the i hope you have a H&H 9 or so months

I never feel like I have any energy til the afternoon, what can I eat/drink/do to motivate in the morning, esp like right now, when ds is asleep?
Well this sums me up too. I am SOO tired every morning i have to DRAG or be dragged by dd1 out of bed and feel really bler and struggle to eat then come the arvo and i'm starving and full of beans but by then my DD's are tired and its so hard to do anything so i find i am exercising at about 8.30.pm at night and am then up til about midnight as i cant wind down. I know logically i should get up early and go for a walk then but its so hard to leave that wonderful place known as my bed.

Well my DD2 has a specialist appt this arvo and i am feeling really anxious so i think today will be a tough day as i am an emotional eater but i will try- no i wont "I WILL" resist all temptations i will eat well. I will leave 15 mins early and park further away from the hosy and walk the remainder. At least i wont have to worry about fighting for a parking bay which would be inevitable.

Hope you all have a good day and those of you that do come across lil hiccups dont stress in the big scheme of things whats a little bump in the road.

I've found this week harder as well...

Up until today I hadn't lost anything and this morning showed a small loss. I am doing the same eating (1200 cal a day or less) and more exercise. I didn't think a plateau would happen so soon...

    congrats TK on the BFP!

Well I joined weight watchers online too... it says I can have 28 points a day! That seems like a lot....

We had a yummy ww recipe last night, maple chicken... all you do is marinate some chicken in maple syrup and soy and then grill. We had it with some corn and salad... yummo!

For those of you getting worried about results... are u weighing in every day? If so, I'd probably avoid doing that. Stick to a weigh in once a week at the same time of day

    Come On Girls!~

Congratulations to you TK on your BFP!

We can do this - I agree with Rory - one day off is not going to destroy anything! Bring it on!

It's the end of Week 2 and I'm going to treat myself BIG TIME.

Today, for ME, I've washed the sheets - put them on the line (it's going to be 37oC here today).

When I get home, I'm going to hang out my doona on the line (it's also a little windy).

And this afternoon, I'm going to buy myself some new SEXY lingerie. Just for me. Just because. And nobody else is going to see it but me. Because I DESERVE it, damn it! I'm going to get healthy, and I've done well this week... we'll see what the scales say, but I feel SO much better for not stuffing myself with lollies, chocolate and FAT ... the restaurants call them chips, but I call them FAT...

Come on girls! Spoil ourselves. We deserve it.

    GIRLS

IT IS SO SO SO COMMON TO FEEL DISHEARTENED AFTER YOU HAVE STARTED!

Starting an exciting new project is exciting and easy. It is easy to start, as it the novelty factor is huge.

But to STAY motivated, and to continue working on your project.......that is a little trickier.

All I can say to you is that time will pass regardless.

Where would you rather be this time next week, next month, next year?

On a healthy journey, or looking back in regret?

    Time will pass regardless........

Divvy has said it all: regardless of what the scales say:

but I feel SO much better for not stuffing myself with lollies, chocolate and FAT ...
Think how good you all felt after the first week? I personally would rather feel like that than feel the guilt of going back to my old habits..............

Girls, I am away now for a week. But still PM me all your stats and weights and measurements by the end of Weds, and I will try and get the results up Thursday.....

    Be good to yourselves........xx

I feel the same! The scales the other day said i had put back on the 400g that I have lost, but ppl keep asking if I've lost weight! I too feel thinner! The pants I bought 2 days before christmas now need a belt where they didn't before!

Hoody and Rhianon - I'm the opposite, I find it hard to get motivated in the afternoons/evenings. While I dream of lying in bed all day, I have to get up and get the house tidied, breakfast sorted, showered etc all in the morning because then I have the rest of the day to do whatever.

Went for an hour long walk yesterday. Was intending to run this morning (starting the couch to 5k) but DS had other ideas. Had to take him to enrol in swimming this morning and we are off to mothers group shortly, but I will be going to pilates class tonight. Can't wait. I love love love pilates

Borrowed an exercise DVD from the library too so going to chuck that on this week when it's too hot to go for a walk outside.

Haven't weighed myself on my proper scales since last weeks weigh in, but have done a body test on the weigh and according to that I haven't lost any weight this week - oh well, at least I haven't put on anything.

Have also eaten well I think, no chocolate, no soft drink, more fruit and veg, feeling good already.

I have taken my favourite skirt out of the wardrobe and hung it up on the door so I can see it all the time. It's my motivation to keep going because I want to fit into that skirt again!!

Chicken with White Wine and Mushroom Sauce and vegies.

How can I make it healthy?
