    Morning all

Last night's dinner was a hot chicken salad. Yummo! I marinated the chicken in my own honey and soy and then cooked it up. Served on a bed of lettuce, red peppers, carrot, avocado, nuts, sultanas, egg and mango. Feels like summer.

Today is shopping day for me so off to do that shortly, then a walk this afternoon and then off to the museum tonight to see the Titanic exhibition, so more walking around there, well strolling anyway. Have a good day!

traveller i have the myfitnesspal app on my iPhone, but i can't bring myself to put everything in at the moment! I need someone to kick my butt and make me... I did find it really worked too.

I had an easy day at the gym yesterday, did a 4k elliptical rider and then 6k bike ride all whilst reading my book. Tonight is pilates +zumba. OMG, i am sooo bad at zumba-ing - check out this link and watch me, i am the chick in the green pants:

YouTube - Zumba - Dance Dance Dance

Hahaha, kidding, she is just some random, but i am just as bad if not worse! Has anyone seen any good zumba dvd's? I need to get one and practice so i don't look quite so silly.

PRMG, your salad sounds awesome!! Yum, i must give it a try

Why would you want to reduce protein specifically?

Appletree - I got a 4 disk set of Zumba dvds at the Preston Market (if you're in Melb) for $30. It has a beginner one to teach all the moves and then some more advanced workouts. I'm so unco at it, but love it at the same time.

going over your protein is ok if you are going under your carbs. You need to get energy from somewhere. I am always way over my protein, as long as it is lean meat and not fried I don't see the problem.

I bought a big packet of mints today and have only had 10. I know that sounds like a lot but normally the whole bag would have been gone by now. I am known for getting three tubes of extra strong mints at the supermarket and finishing them all before I get home so I have gone cold turkey...until now. This is a big test to see if I can not go and eat the rest.

i still have over 400 calories and 100 carbs to use up..
    so think im right..

I have to make sure i keep my iron levels up as well i loose iron very quickly

How do you work out how many calories something is if it is home made? Like my home made pie for example.

I either work out each ingredient individually, or find a brand that is similar to my home made meal and use that.

you will definitely lose weight easier if you eat more, plus it is easier to stick to the routine if you are not left hungry

Pandora mine said i had to increase my calories to 1200 a day ATLEAST and then i figure prob a bit more as i am BFing and i was lucky to be reaching 1000... but i was trying to watch my milk and cheese so i think i am just going to relax a bit, continue to eat as i have been (quite healthy anyway) but throw in some exercise and just watch i'm not throwing crap in my mouth when i'm not paying attention
