    Cool 2010 Summer/Christmas Challenge #2

    Following on from THIS thread...

I guess it's hard to dispute the fact that summer is coming and most of us want to look warm weather ready, even if that means just a little more 'respectable' in our togs than usual.

So who's in... i find it's easier working towards a goal when i have other people making me a little more accountable for my actions.

Let us know your current weight, your goal weight, measurements and anything else that might HELP US HELP YOU reach your goals.
It does not need to be a WEIGHT bassed goal, lets make this a summer health challenge... maybe you want to run a marathon or be able to walk to the shops and back, no goal is too small and no goal is too big... we CAN work through them together.

for now PM me your details: Your goal, current weight etc

We will make weigh in's (for those doing weight based) on a Monday if that works for everyone.

I'm doing ok. I have to focus really hard on exercise because weeknights dinner is out of my control as dh is current SAHD so he cooks it. Waaaay to much pasta and processed meats ( he does salami in lots of stuff) so all I can do is try to control portion size. I get home between 630-730 most nights so it's difficult as the kids eat at 6

But I think I lost this week, yay

I'm travelling slowly. So tired!! Today went for my morning walk, then got stuck into the house. Yesterday I managed four loads of washing and folded it all, today was bathrooms, toilets, kitchen and floors. Are you asleep yet? How excitement!

Just jumped on the exercise bike for something different, managed five minutes before my rotten knees gave up. Got on the wii fit and it told me I'd gained 1.3kg, but the other scales are reporting a loss. I think I don't accurately put in the weight of clothes. Anyway...hope you're all going well. Last night's dinner was a hot lamb salad and a roasted duck drumstick. Yum.

i've been terrible so far this week had a bacon & egg roll for lunch yesterday, and DF's grandparents were here from Monday until today and they've bought morning tea from the bakery...and I've had a bit of Harry's Rocky Road (I figure the sooner it's gone, the sooner it will no longer be a temptation...lol). My mum and nanny are coming down on Friday and leaving Sunday so no doubt I'll have more naughty food then too. And it's been raining so haven't been able to go walking, although I still have done 20 mins or so of exercise tapes a day.

*goes and hides in the naughty corner for the rest of the week* I promise I will be back on the wagon next week!

    Hi Guys!! I'm BAAAACCKK!!!!

It's late and I'm tired, so I won't reply individually.

I went to Kangaroo Island for two day. Soooo much fun!! We went all over the island. The holiday was filled with heaps and heaps of walking and some rock climbing, but also with pizza, lots of alcohol and nutella for breakfast! I really enjoyed and savoured the holiday, and I don't regret splurging out a bit. You only live once, right? So for the next few days I'll have to exercise a bit harder and really watch what I eat. All good.

I'm proud and happy how everyone is doing. You rock!

Morning everyone, no walk yesterday.. completely my fault, the weather was crapish i had to mop, then DP called and needed me to taste the water so i was late and ended up just going to rhyme time BUT then i went to the hosp in the arvo to see my friends little girl and i had to park away from the hosp and walk down aswell as walking around the hospital.

DP got that bike he won on e-bay so i will try and do say 10-15min on that today.
The screen is not working so how will i know how long i have done etc... i would like to keep track somehow.

Raupe - glad you enjoyed your time away, sounds awesome

ss_storm - hun don't worry about it, life is about living and enjoying. Maybe when you have the 'naughty' food could you serve half of what you would normally eat OR make yummy fresh fruit salad with a little ice cream instead?

PRMG - you'll be back to normal ASAP... stupid knees

Pandora - gee where do you find a man that cooks... haha it would be so hard when food choices are out of your control, give him a kick up the bum and say make ME friendly foods... lol

Jewel well done hun, keep up the great work.

Oh ZF, i hope things are going to be ok for you sending you a huge

Pandora, wow you must be busy! Poor thing. I am so not looking forward to going back to all of that in a few months! Good work on breakfasts and dinners though! I have started having honey almond all bran this week and if you want an easy breakie i could highly recommend it!

PRMG- wow that sounds nice! I wish DF would do something like that with me, we are so not spontaneous anymore...

Belfie- if i'm not happy with my weigh in, i feed DS! LOL, and then i pee too! It all helps Hahaha

I finally started my christmas shopping today! Wow, it is hard work. I have no idea where i am going to hide everything either. I have been generally ok this week, took 2 days off from the gym as DS had 2 teeth pop through and i didn't want to leave him, but was back today. Was nice to see my gym stalker again, lol. I treated myself to some stir fry at the shops today, and then ran into my aunt who insisted on gloria jeans so i am sure i have well and truly eaten my calories + some more! Good news is that i got my replacement iphone today so i will be back to tracking daily from here on! I am not going to give up over christmas, i feel like i haven't been making very good progress lately, though when i went out with a couple of friends on Fri night they were competing over who was skinnier (they are both in the low 60's), but it was me who was being checked out by everyone so at least that felt good! Plus, i could go and buy any dress that i wanted which felt wonderful!

Ok this is going to sound weird but allbran blocks me up.
Maybe I need to drink more water or something, but the two times I've tried it ended up in pain.
I can't do the shrugging emoticon dude on iPhone but you get the gist

    Hmmm, that is weird Pandora!

Well Day 1 of tracking is going pretty well so far! But, on the other hand i am kind of worried i might be pregnant and am trying very hard to

A few things are all starting to add up, and i am starting to freak out a bit. If i am not, then i am def off to the GP for some contraception ASAP

I am also really stressing about moving, i can't find anything that i really want to live in, and have done next to no packing! Actually, i should get up now and clear out our walk in wardrobe of things to give away... Anyone need anything at all? I am basically trying to give away everything that we own! LOL.
