    yay tracy!

you wonderful ladies are inspiring me.

Yesterday i was cranky mum. DD didn't want to go for a walk. So DH. DS and the dog went. Instead of doing nothing, I did 30 minutes exersise on the wii fit...actually broke into a sweat, and actually enjoyed myself...and afterwards I was less-cranky mum!

Today I will do it again. It will probably take a few weeks for it to become a habit. THe boys are just marching off for the dog walk - so to the wii!

Hi my name is Stacey and in 2011 I AM going to lose the trailer (my a$$) that seems to follow me everywhere I go.

I was doing really well just before xmas and I joined curves and was doing their low carb diet. I was really strict with myself and going great guns, lost about 8 kilos in 6weeks but then xmas happened.
I not only fell off the wagon but that damned thing ran me over and I swelled up!

So another Monday looms and I am bloody determined that this is the last Monday I will be starting another diet.

So I am off to the supermarket today to get all my healthy foods and snacks so I have no excuses.
I am not time poor but certainly motivation poor.
Any tips to get my mind past that 6 week point?? Thats always where I falter and give up. Just when I start to see some differences and changes I cant be bothered anymore.

I am currently about 100kilos (battery flat in scales and im not so keen to replace it) and I would love to get into the 70's. 79.9 would be fine

Kimmi where abouts are you?? I am on the Southside and always keen for a walking buddy.

Awesome Kimmi, Forest Lake has some great walks around and the lake is always a good walk too.

By that stage we will be well on our way to hotness so we can run!!! hahahahaha maybe not but it pays to at least think big.

Thanks everyone. I have emailed WW now to see what i can do, at least if i can suspend it for 10-12m to do it later on.
I am going to do my best to try and lose weight while I am pregnant, obviously not rapidly but at my weight it is not going to be unhealthy to lose something.

i am a member at the gym, went there like crazy befre christmas, lost 5kg and a few cm's, christmas came and i put it all back on again.

My last post was much longer than what seems to be showing for me... (not sure if it's just a tapatalk defect though). I just wanted to welcome Frantelle and also suggested that we weigh in each Monday. If we all post starting weights tomorrow and our updated weight it might help make us more accountable and motivated to make our numbers smaller each week. What do you think?

Great idea Tammie, how about also giving a brief run down on what you plan on doing different this week or if you achieved your weekly goal from last week, ie extra 10 mins walking, more water, or what you are proud of... Small goals with quick end dates are great for the self-esteem and keep things positive.

Sounds good to me. Now I just have to brave the scales. Hoping to stay motivated I need to lose this weight for my DS he needs a healthy environment. I also dont want to be the fat mum when he goes to school. I will not have my son be ashamed of me.

Let's all brave the scales in the morning then!

Sharing our successes and what we will do to improve results etc sounds great - I work in an industry where we call it sharing best practice.

Fingers crossed we are all prepared for our numbers tomorrow.
